Caulking guns, also known as caulk or cartridge guns, dispense controlled flow of products like caulk, sealants, and adhesives from a tube or cartridge.
Manual caulking guns consist of a frame holding the tube, a trigger, and a rod that moves forward when the trigger is depressed, dispensing the product.
Manual caulking guns have a thrust ratio; higher ratios make dispensing easier.
Air-powered or pneumatic caulking guns also have a frame and trigger but use an air pressure regulator to push the product from the tube.
